Stop Choosing Sides, Start Building Bridges
Most people think you need to pick: design or business, creativity or metrics, innovation or stability. That is nonsense. For 25 years, I have walked the entire product development path many times, from first ideas to scaled solutions, always finding the sweet spot between user needs and business reality. All of it is a people business. You work with people, on things for people. The ones who use it, the ones who build it, the ones who pay for it.
At UX&I, I help enterprise product teams build these bridges. AI is where that gets hardest right now. I advise a team building an AI product, and help UX&I figure out where AI belongs in our own work. The tools change. The stance does not: curious about what they can do, strict about what they claim.
Beyond client work, I am the maker of KANNSTEMACHEN and building syncTerms, open for beta registration. I also open-sourced Survey Insight Skills for Claude Code, a small toolkit that turns any survey CSV into a short, evidence-backed report. The model reasons, the engine counts, so no number in the report is invented. Because real insight comes from doing the work, not just talking about it.
